About

My name is Yoppy, with Hakka name Chia Su-Chiang (謝 書 青). I was born in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. I grew up in Nanga Pinoh, a small village approximately 400 km from Pontianak. But starting from senior high school, I moved to Pontianak. I lived there for 3 years. After that I started my bachelor study in electrical engineering at Brawijaya University in Malang, East Java. I had my final project presentation on 31 December 2008 ;). A few months later I got a job at P2SMTP-LIPI. Two years passed by, and in August 2012 I got a scholarship from Kemenkominfo and moved to the Wonderlands, I mean the Netherlands, to study in the program Master of Science in Embedded Systems, at the University of Twente. My final project is about estimating the location of RFID tags using antenna array.

This blog is inspired by https://catatandigital14.wordpress.com/. Following the same motivation like Bondan Suwandi’s blog, this blog is also a medium to spread everything that is worth to share. Among other things, this blog will mostly contain my experience in playing electronics. Also, my publications can be found here. Hope you find this blog useful! You can reach me at: yoppy.chia at gmail dot com

This blog contains my personal opinion and project experience. It does not reflect the official policies or statements of P2SMTP-LIPI.
